My trip aboard the AMBA was exceptional from start to finish. The vessel itself is beautiful, combining traditional Maldivian craftsmanship with modern comfort. The spacious, air-conditioned cabins, generous lounge areas, and large sun deck provided plenty of room to relax between dives. What truly sets AMBA apart is the atmosphere on board. The crew is incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making every guest feel welcome from day one. The dive operation is extremely well organized, with detailed briefings, excellent safety standards, and a team that genuinely cares about delivering the best possible experience. A special mention goes to Cruise Director Stefan, who does a fantastic job. His passion, professionalism, and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the trip. Whether coordinating the daily schedule, sharing his extensive knowledge of the dive sites, or ensuring that every guest feels comfortable and well looked after, Stefan consistently goes above and beyond. His leadership plays a huge role in creating the relaxed, friendly, and professional atmosphere that makes AMBA such a pleasure to travel on. The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, varied, and delicious, offering a great mix of international, Asian, and local Maldivian cuisine. There was always something to look forward to after a dive. Of course, the real stars of the trip were the underwater encounters. From graceful manta rays and reef sharks to eagle rays, turtles, and huge schools of fish, every dive offered something special. The dedicated dive dhoni made gearing up and entering the water effortless, allowing the entire operation to run smoothly and efficiently. AMBA perfectly combines comfort, professionalism, and authentic Maldivian hospitality. Whether you are visiting the Maldives for the first time or are a seasoned diver, this is a liveaboard experience that exceeds expectations. Just do it - go ahead - book to the Amba !!! Was a great experience starting over from the crew - the facilities, especially the spaces  rooms and the overall organization on board. Adlai just wonderful was the food on the Amba - which was always healthy - tasty and just great. Special thanks to Stefan and his Organisation which always place the safety in first place and arrange that wonderful Experience. I am not a diver, I am the wife of a diver. I accompanied my husband on an amazing weeklong dive holiday aboard the AMBA liveaboard in Maldives. Kudos to the entire staff and dive masters for a memorable holiday. Food was delicious and my rest time whike the divers were exploring the bottom of the ocean was simply the best rest I have had in several years. Although I am a very nervous swimmer I was able to snorkel with mantas thanks to Jessica one of the amazing dive Masters on board.

Had a great time on this liveaboard. The crew were fantastic, always smiling and creating a really friendly, family-like atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the special dessert every night was a nice bonus! The boat and cabins were always clean, and Stefan's attention to safety was outstanding. I would have preferred a bit more variety in the diving and there were fewer dives than expected, but overall it was a very enjoyable trip and I'd happily recommend it.

Excellent experience overall. The crew was outstanding, very professional and welcoming throughout the trip. A special thanks to our dive guide Jessica, who was truly exceptional. Safety and cleanliness were both impeccable, and the desserts were consistently creative and memorable. A few minor points for improvement: the generator noise was quite noticeable at night in my bedroom; the food quality was excellent but could benefit from more variety, especially at breakfast. Having the diving gear prepared by the crew would add a premium touch; and repeating the same dive site three times felt a bit excessive (trying to combine day/night setup would be great if we have to do twice a site). Overall, these are small details compared to an otherwise excellent liveaboard that I would strongly recommend.

Ich habe mich auf dieser Safari sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war sehr strukturiert, jeder wusste jederzeit, was als nächstes ansteht (inkl täglichem Zeitplan auf einem Whiteboard), oder auch, warum etwas nicht möglich ist. Stefan hat hier alles immer transparent kommuniziert. Auch wurde allen immer mal wieder etwas erklärt, ob Boje setzen, Riffhaken setzen oder was auch immer. Egal, wie erfahren man war. Sehr angenehm. Das Essen war extrem lobenswert, auch das Frühstück: es gab täglich frisch gebackene Brötchen oder Brot, frisch aufgeschnittene Hähnchenbrust als Aufschnitt, selbst gemachte Ingwershots, Eier und Obstsalat. Unser Guide Teygo war sehr professionell und dabei unaufdringlich. Jessica war der Guide der anderen Gruppe, sie war aber für jeden jederzeit präsent und hilfsbereit. Unsere Gruppe bestand aus 7 Tauchern, Jessicas Gruppe aus 8 Tauchern. Die Gruppengröße war angenehm. Wir hatten die Luxuskabine mit einem Doppelbett, jeder Menge Platz und eine eigene Terrasse. Und mit viel Liebe zum Detail!! Ich würde jederzeit wieder mit der Amba auf Tour gehen. Bis zum nächsten Mal!!

Super 8 Nächte auf der Amba verbracht. Sehr schöne Tauchgänge gemacht, Mantas gesehen beim Schnorcheln und tauchen. Nette, freundliche, hilfsbereite Crew die alles schon sieht und schnell erledigt. Einfach klasse, gerne immer wieder auf der Amba.

Fantastic, amazing, bioluminescent!   Stefan hosts a wonderful ship with an amazing crew and friendly vibe.   The expertise of each department shone through throughout our adventures.   From knowing when and how to best navigate the changeable seas in the Maldives to finding the best dive sites for each dive based on weather and current and local sightings they constantly adjusted to make our time together as safe and fun as possible.  The crew were very friendly and conscientious, the whole ship and cabins were clean at all times with fresh towels as needed.   And then the food - wow - the chefs amazed at each sumptuous meal, and presented dishes from all over the world to treat our palates, and those deserts - chef’s kiss!  I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience, and once again another shout out to the dive leaders - Jessica and Teygo - their site expertise is unmatched, as is their ability to plan great dives, find the large and small critters, and make the dives such an excellent part of the trip.
